This workshop is designed to get beginner sewing students comfortable using the sewing machine! We will make simple drawstring bags to get acquainted with the basics of how to thread the machine and sew straight lines. We will discuss tools, terminology, material sourcing, choosing projects, and basic troubleshooting so students will leave with a finished object and an idea of the path ahead of them. All machines, tools, and materials will be provided.

Registration closes the Wednesday before class.

There are multiple price points, as this class is sliding-scale, and includes all supplies. Please choose the option that best suits what you can afford right now.
