Nov 22 + 23: Woven Backpack Baskets with Angela
Create a woven backpack basket to be your constant companion on trips to the farmer’s market, foraging, heading to the beach, or simply looking good. On Day 1 we will use ash splints to weave the base, attach sturdy oak skids for the bottom, and use a variety of materials to weave pattern into the sides of the basket. Day 2 will cover carving and lashing the rim and adding a handle and straps. No prior weaving experience necessary. Come prepared for two long days of weaving fellowship!
Registration closes the Wednesday before class.
There are multiple price points, as this class is sliding-scale, and includes all supplies. Please choose the option that best suits what you can afford right now.
