June 6: Jam Basics!

Students will learn the basics of preserving food at home and get to go through the process of making a delicious blueberry-lime jam. The emphasis here is on food safety -- not just knowing how to make a great jam, but also proper equipment and methods, and how to prepare your food and store it properly so that it stays safe and delicious. Run in partnership with the NC State Agricultural Extension.
Registration closes the Wednesday before class.
