This class is an excellent way to get better acquainted with clay! We will explore the mechanical properties of the material through intuitive and timeless techniques. There's a tremendous range of objects that can be made with slabs or by pinching and coiling. At the end of class, students will choose their glazes, and after a bisque firing Sadie will glaze and fire the pieces. Students will be notified when the pieces are ready to be picked up, usually around 2 weeks after class, depending on humidity and other factors.
This class is well-suited for beginners.

Registration closes the Wednesday before class.
