March 28: Fiber day! Discuss materials you can use, how to plan your design, ways to prepare fabric, introduce various embroidery/ lace techniques, ways to finish embroidered piece so it doesn’t fray, embellishments that could be added

March 29: Metal Day! Demo ways to stabilize piece, either by soldering a frame, piercing and sawing, or using alternative found objects, tab and prong setting demo, demo ways to stabilize pieces without access to a torch

Registration closes the Wednesday before class.
